Portscatho

Portscatho is a short drive from Tregony, is a village with charm, offering scenic coastal works and some beautiful nearby beaches. Discover Porthcurnick Beach, a secluded spot perfect for a relaxed day by the sea. Here, you'll find the renowned Hidden Hut, an outdoor dining spot known for its fresh, local fare and breathtaking sea views. Between June and September they host some epic feast nights which are well worth a visit.

There’s a little beach in Portscatho when the tides in but about 5 minute's drive away you’ll find Porthbean Beach which is a little bigger.

Falmouth is one of our favourite Cornish towns. A short ferry ride away from the equally charming St Mawes, Falmouth beckons with its unique blend of nautical charm and bustling atmosphere. The high street is a delightful mix of independent boutiques and well-known retailers, where you can find anything from locally crafted jewellery to the latest fashion. Maritime booksellers sit next to trendy cafes, offering the perfect blend of old and new. You'll find an array of options for dining, from fresh seafood eateries to international cuisine. Wander along the harbour, explore the Maritime Museum, or just enjoy a Cornish ice cream while taking in the view. Lappa Valley

A little bit further afield, (about half an hour's drive from the property) is Lappa Valley. It's a family-friendly attraction with miniature trains, play areas, and nature walks that offers a great day out for both adults and the little ones. It has a big indoor play area for those wetter days when the beach isn’t an attractive option.

Tregony

Our quaint, local village of Tregony is just 2 minutes up the road. This historic town dates back to medieval times and offers a glimpse into the past with its narrow streets and stone buildings.
